Alysa had just come from dinner, with her sketch book in her hand and decided to go to the Black Lake. This had become one of her favorite places since arriving at Hogwarts. She climbed onto the rock and sighed, watching the sunset and decided to draw that. Almost done with her drawing, she heard something and turned around to see no one there and returned back to her drawing.

Harry tucked his hands behind his back as he walked towards the Lake. It was his first day back on his last year at Hogwarts. He wasn't sure if he felt nostaligic, afraid, contemplative, or all three. He often found that walking on the grounds soothed him. He paused, seeing another student and not wanting to interrupt their alone time. He steped on a branch and swiftly hid behind a tree when she looked over. Wait, what am I hiding for? he wondered. I have as much right as she to be here.. he stepped into the light. "Hello."

Alysa turned around when she heard something and saw someone. "Hello" she said with a friendly smile. "I'm Alysa. Would llike to sit down?" she asked. She knew who he was, but she thought he wanted to be treated like a normal guy.

"Actually yes." he replied as he sat beside her. He noticed her sketch pad and raised an eyebrow. "You draw?" he asked, immediately interested. Not many people knew it, but he was a big fan of art; though hopeless at it himself. He had tried once, and he'd rather not think on that dismal failure. He looked to the sunset, wishing again that he did have some talent, other than the inborn ability to tick off Snape and the automatic reation of always defeating Voldemort.

She smiled when he sat down next to her. "She nodded her head, "Yes. I've been drawing for a while now. It's pretty relaxing, along with quidditch." she lightly laughed and shook her head. She looked out at the lake and sunset once more and finished her drawing. She turned to him and showed him her drawing. "So, what do you think?" she asked.

Harry eyed the drawing speculatively, then nodded soberly. "Well, its certain. You're a far better artist than myself. Best drawing I ever did looked like some wacko sticks with hair. I gave up after that." He added in afterthought.

"Thank you." Alysa said and could feel that she was blushing a little. She turned to him, "So Harry, what's there to do around here?" she asked.

"Sit around and look stupid." he responded automatically, before blushing and amending himself. "Uh, well, there's Quidditch, the library...you could always bother people. Quite easy here, actually." he added with amusement.

"Sounds like a lot of fun." Alysa lightly laughed. "The quidditch pitch was one of the first places to find here. I"ve been playing all my life." she shrugged. "I've been around it all my life since my dad's the head of the quidditch department in the Ministry." she added.

"Wicked." Harry responded. He couldn't really say much else. He hadnt even heard the word Quidditch until he was eleven and dragged to Hellswarts, as he'd taken to calling the place designated to be either his funeral home or his executioner. Or both. "So...what year are you in?" he asked lamely.

"Sixth year. My first year here actually." Alysa said. "What about you?" she asked.

"Seventh, thank goodness. Im almost out of here." Harry would never have predicted in his first year that he would ever be so happy to leave the place. But Hellswarts was far from luxury. Unless one enjoyed near death experiences.

"Lucky you." Alysa sighed, wishing it was her last year. "I didn't really want to be here this year. I could have playing quidditch professionally with all the offers I got." she shrugged. "But my mom thought that school was important and thatI could play after I graduate." she added.
